MCreator not responding

I recently just had the issue here again. I haven't had it in a while though. After force-quitting MCreator 2020.5, I tried to open it again but whenever I try, MCreator does not respond. When I looked up "MCreator not responding" I only got outdated issues and issues for people who have never opened and used MCreator previously. I've tried right-clicking it and then pressing Open to open it under Applications, opening it from my dock, and double-clicking it to open it under Applications and straight from the drive.
