Hi I have created a potion for my mod and I wanted to make a recipe, now I know I can't make a brewing recipe do I'm not asking for that, I just need to make a crafting table recipe for my potion but when I tried to do it, I couldn't, it didn't show up when I tried to put crafting result as my potion. Ps I'm using the potion tab in the creator.
It is not possible yet, but is planned to be added in the future updates.
so if I cant make a recipe for the potion,,, THEN WHAT'S THE POINT
You can use custom potions in procedures, or make a new item that gives you this potion and make a recipe for this item.
I get that, but i think there needs to be a custom brewing recipe added
There is a ticket open for this, we will add them in the future updates.
what command could you use in procedures? I tried using /give @p potion{Potion:"modname:custompotionname"} 1 in game but it just gave me an uncraftable potion.
the snapshots allow brewing stand recipes, albeit being an unstable version of the program

So, How i make a new item that gives me the potion. Im new and i dont know how to do this things. Please help
It is possible now! What you have to do is create a new recipe, select brewing, and put in all the data for it. For your custom potion, select water battle, then use tag. put in the name of your potions tag, and click done. It works!
