Problems with json models for items

Hi everyone. I am trying to create a json model for a custom sword, but the texture of the sword is actually invisible... I tried a lot to resolve it but it seems impossible. How can I create a custom sword with a custom json model that works?

Maybe the problem is that I'm wrong with the creation of the model. I write a model where i specify "rotation", "translation", "scale" for the firstperson and the thirdperson. In the last line of the json i write "textures": "(id name of the modpack)":items/(name of the texture of the item).

Thanks for help!

No, the texture is completely invisible. I can see the name of the sword but not the texture.

I also had errors because of the new versions of blockbench (but for pink and black texture).
That's why I use version 3.6.6.
So far I have not had any errors, currently I use 2021.1.

in block bench you can also import a texture (it scans it) and it will have the model of the items in general of minecraft
but the texture is invisible? did you check it with f5?
It occurs to me that it is very badly placed for first person and therefore does not appear on the screen.
If in f5 still does not appear then, I could recommend you to install the other version of blockbench.

Yes, with f5 is invisible but is invisible in the inventory too. Can I try to give you my json model?

ok, I'm sorry I don't understand English :(
if it is possible, once you create your sword
open workspace folder
src "main resources" folder
open the model with the name of your weapon
and change it to something like this

but with your own data

yes, but do not modify anything of the sword in mcreator, because the model will be reset and you will have to modify the model again.
you can modify other elements
