Is there anyway to remove the Original game's recipes in place of your own like a stone making a button switching that to a stone making a log

Add new recipe with the same name as vanilla and use Minecraft namespace and set the result to air.
I did all of these things!
It´s not working for me i created a new Workspace.
I made a recipe called Ironblock.
The recipe registry name is iron_block recipe namespace is on minecraft
Recipe group name default recipe type crafting xp reward 0
Crafting recipe 9 Iron Ingot´s equals one AIR.
Workspace 1.12.2 Mcreator 2020.2
What am i doing wrong?
I am not sure if this works in 1.12.2, but it for sure does in 1.14.4
Ok i tested it it´s only working on 1.14.4
Thanks for help!
does it work like this:
Any plank+Any plank+stick= air
oak plank+oak plank+stick= wooden sword
acasia plank+acasia plank+stick=my custom sword
yes
I don't know if I'm doing something wrong here, I am making a mod to 1.16.5 and this method seems to work only with stackable items form what I've tested.
When I used this for the crafting table and blaze powder recipe, and it worked for both of them, but then I tried with diamond sword and iron boots and it didn't.
I have the same problem i cant disable or change a recipe ingame of a iron pickaxe for example but i can for diamond blocks
i'm having this EXACT same problem. It seems to happen when a workspace is refactored/regened build folder. only stackable items work now.
