Hello, I've been having an issue with a mod I've made where the mobs specified in the attack procedures keep reverting back to the first mob on the list of ones to choose from and the majority of the list entries become labelled "undefined". For a moment it seemed like the solution would be to replace them with new procedures that worked, but upon double checking that all of the mobs were fixed, some randomly changed back to the first mob and the lists became undefined again. I haven't noticed any consistency with how it becomes glitched, but I've tried fixing it for about 2 hours now and I haven't been able to. I'm really stressed out about this and would like help.
This has been happening to me too for a long time. Do you know how to fix this?
Same thing is happening to me, So annoying because I can't make my mobs target the player, I was going to post a forum about it but this one already exists and theirs rules against doubling up, but I wanted to spread awareness of this issue, PLEASE FIX THIS!
You need unfortunately to restart MCreator for this to be sure it works again. It's common problem with Blockly, and I reported it lately for devs, so let's hope it will be solved in next MCreator version/snapshots (I can't promise that though).
Do you mean uninstall and reinstall or just restart MCreator
Only restart, it's that universal way of solving most computer-related issues ;)
even restarting doesn't work
its been 20 minutes and it keeps randomly reseting stuff and putting half of the list undefined
its literally impossible to fix my procedure
bump. I cant get anything done. I restart I regen code, it keeps resetting to the first enemy in the list.
Honestly this issue got much more frequent. On 2020.5/2021.1 it happened once in a blue moon, but 2021.2 (and maybe 2021.3, I don't use this one) it is almost 75% of times.
Good news for you tho, there's a chance 2022.1 will have different system, meaning this bug can go away. I really really hope so, at least.
so if i use a older version it might work better?
I think so. It's bittersweet recommendation, because older MCreators had less features, but this bug were much rarer when I used 2020.5 ;-;
Other option is to wait for 2022.1 and report all issues as fast as we encounter them, so this version will have more support from community with bugfinding.
