Topic category: Help with MCreator software
First time posting, I'll be brief.
I've been trying to import an animated texture for my mod. I'm able to do so with ease, either via a .gif, or with a spritesheet. However, every time I import my animation, it adds a white background to my frames, which I then need to spend 15 minutes manually erasing for my 50 frame long animation.
1) Why does it add this white background?
2) Is there a method to stop it from happening?
2a) If there is no method to disable it, is there a way to remove it more effectively (keeping in mind that my animation uses the color white quite prominently, so any trickery with the paint bucket tool will not work)?
My exported animation does not contain any form of background of any color. MCreator is adding this background automatically. I do not want MCreator to add this background automatically. I never wanted MCreator to add this background automatically. I have been up for 3 hours trying to fix this for an extremely long animation due to MCreator adding this background automatically. I am very frustrated with this, and I just want to sleep, but I have been up for way too long trying to fix something that really shouldn't be an issue. Please help.
just upload a picture as a gif
I've tried it as a GIF, still has the background. I'm surprised that if this is an issue people know how to fix, though, that it isn't already patched. I'll try the low threshold selection and see if it works.
Use piskel!
Spritesheets are usually better than gifs.
^ Absolute legend, that worked. Completely forgot about Piskel!
