Can't use multiple models

Whenever I import a .java model that I already gave a name, it keeps automatically giving it the name "Modelcustom_model" and I can't change it at all. Now I'm unable to have multiple .java models. Please figure out why it does this and fix it.

In Blockbench open your model, go to File, then Project..., and change the File Name and Model Identifier to a unique name, also make sure Export Version is set to your mod's version.

That didn't work. However, I found out I can fix it by changing the name by opening the .java file in Notepad++.

Go into blockbench, click file, then click project, then change the file identifier, it should work
