I have made my mod which is called "Combine Custom Items Mod", and when I had finished I did like usually, clicked "Export mod for distribution", it was showing me the coding thingy, then it wrote "building successful", then a window pup-up then I choosed "Export mod without donating (because I have a lot of money as everyone does)then the window just disapeared without asking me WHERE TO SAVE MY MOD !!!

uhhh are there any more details? does it happen every time? did you restart mcreator? did you redownload mcreator? did you pet an axolotl?
its most likely asking where you want to place the compiled mod, to confirm this go and select "Desktop" then see if a .jar file appears, if it does then you may have been confused of what it was asking
