Hi there,
i have been making some mobs and using the biped model. Unfortunately the mob does not render properly when using the normal 64x32 texture or 64x64 texture.
The 64x32 texture has the texture scrambles while the 64x64 has the left arm and leg missing. Texture used was the standard zombie texture.
Is there a reason for this texture problem?
64x32
64x64
Hey! I was searching around for an answer for this myself but couldn't find anything on the issue, so I'm glad I wasn't the only one with this issue. After some testing, I believe I have found how to solve this issue.
Using the template above, I was able to use the 64x64 texture and have the left arm & leg show. Just add your left leg texture in the LL slot and the left arm in the LA slot. Hope this works for you!
Hey tonyisanegg,
Thank you for template! I made it work now by adding the left leg and arm texture. Any idea of what the body2, ll2 la2, rl2, ra2 supposed to be? Is it supposed to be armor or clothing layer?
As far as I'm aware, the LL2, LA2, etc. slots are for the outer/accessory layer of skins. Use these if you want to add another layer to the skin, giving it more depth. I know those work for regular Minecraft skins, but I am unsure of their affect on biped models in MCreator.
I have the same problem, but with blocks. All textures above 16x16 do not work for me, although everything worked for me on version 2021.3
ll2, rl2, etc. slots don't work.
