I have this pre-made procedure that, using the entity's head yaw and pitch, lets it move in the direction it's facing. You can use this for all sorts of stuff, like a jump attack or a backdash, just adjust the numbers to your liking using the 'math' blocks.

Wht if i want it to go to a certain block

the new 2023.4 Y delta movement of (entity) block might work in substitution of the Y velocity of (entity) block.
Here is an example of me moving with the proceedure Doo89 suggested, but with the new 2023.4 Y delta movement of (entity) block instead of the Velocity of (entity) block. i applied it to the plyer for simple testing:
