I'll agree on the 1.17 part. Which is why it is not supported.
1.19 though? I challenge you to compare the amount of new 1.19 mods with 1.12 mods on curseforge. I'd be surprised if you find more than 10 1.12 mods for every 100 1.19 mods.
quantity over quality 1.12.2 has the most quality mcreator mods
also they could at least leave the 1.12.2 availble to use because at this rate we will have 100 different plugins that are for "old" versions of mc and idk about you guys but when i search plugins i want to have like actual plugins not backports for 1.13, 1.16 etc.
"No one mods in 1.19 or 1.17 or whatever!"

There are many reasons why 1.12.2 is no longer supported, here are some:
- It uses an old version of java no longer supported in MCreator
- The generator code is messy and outdated, it would need to be rewritten
- The deobfuscated code is hard to read and maintain, due to the mappings being outdated
- The new element GUIs are no longer compatible with some of the parameters in old code of 1.12.2
- Some features that the elements/procedures/triggers use does not exist in 1.12.2
these are some of the reasons.
I understand but 1.12.2 is no longer modded because you stopped it.
For the coding I understand but it is better.
