About the plugin

GeckoLib support for MCreator is back! Now more powerful than ever, GeckoLib allows you to animate your entity, block, armor and item models using smooth keyframe animations made with blockbench. This plugin implements an easy to use method of applying those animations and models in only a few simple steps!

 

The java plugins feature needs to be enabled as this is a java plugin

-This plugin is not maintained or supported by the the creators of  GeckoLib. 

-If you need help using the plugin or to resolve an issue, the best place to ask is the MCreative discord.

i have a problem. if i active mcreator mcreator give me this error:

Hi! I hate to bother you but my animated item doesn't work. When I switch to the slot that the item is in it just shows (in first person) me holding whatever I was holding before I switched to the item. So for example if I was holding string and switched to the item, it would in first person look like I am holding string. How do I fix this?

Also, great plugin! Keep up the good work!

When I look at the plugin in manage plugins it says that that it is not loaded. I am on 2023.2 and have v4.8.7 for it. And it keeps getting stuck on compileJava and I've asked apparently its plugin related. Java plugins are enabled and the plugin is fully loaded

Hello, where i can get older version of this plugin? i want to make mod on 1.18.2 forge, but 2023+ mcreator version doesn't work with this, i want to find geckolib v3.2

the plugin is fine and all, but it does not load for forge 1.19.2 the walking animations, I tried by all means but nothing, it is a big failure because without walking the entity looks horrible, I thank the author but it is a big failure that's why I stopped using it.

tl;dr the animations only update when i die and those that do dont go back to the initial state which is the idle the animations are being triggered in the "play return animation"

and yes i am using both newest mcreator 2023.2 and your build 4.8.7 for the plugin...

Hi , when i put my armor on me with animation , i crash and i don't know how to fix it

Could we possibly get a "Block finishes Animation" global trigger and/or a "Is playing Animation [ANIMATION NAME]" block. Could be really helpful. Love this plugin and can't wait for more.
