Topic category: Feature requests and ideas for MCreator
So, basically, the current coloring system is god awful. It tints, only. and that doesn't work right. So, my idea is:
1. Find the average color. (not empty pixels).
2. Map the hue, saturation, value and alpha offsets (can toggle each as in: toggling off hue makes the coloring not change the hue, and only saturation, value, and alpha).
3. Switch all the colors to The selected color (empty pixels ignored and transparent pixels set to no transparency).
4. Apply the hue, saturation, value and alpha offsets (except the disabled ones from step 2)
This should work very well and should make re-coloring textures easier. If possible you could choose the kind of coloring, either the new or old (though i wonder why someone would want the old system but oh well).
Thats It.
please the old system is awful

I don't recommend using MCreator's texture creator/editor at all, and instead using external programs like Photoshop, Krita, or Aesprite as MCreator's tool is lackluster to say the least
