I am trying to make a single one of a type of entity spawn in a dimension I created and despawn when the player leaves, I am also trying to make only that mob spawn in the dimension and to teleport close to the player when to far away but I am having problems finding the right code to make it work, any tips?
Please explain more are you trying to summon one mob or one type of mob like the undead.

If you are creating a custom mob then you can click where it spawns in one of the tabs and if you are creating a custom dimension and you want to spawn a mob from Vanilla it’s also has a tab.

When you are creating a dimension there is a setting you can choose to change what mobs spawn and don’t spawn
actually, you can choose what biomes spawn in the dimension, and under custom biome settings you can choose what mobs spawn in the custom biome
