Hello, i'm using the Geckolib plugin and trying to get an animated model in. Usually it works just fine, but when I try to import my new model that uses Per face UV as the default UV mode in blockbench it completely crashes everything. Just by importing it, not even adding it as an entity I cannot run the build while it exists, nor can I run it even after I delete the files, it simply crashes on launch. Is there anyway to fix this without having to retexture all 18 of my entities?
It seems like there might be an issue with how the plugin handles models that use Per face UV as the default UV mode in Blockbench.
Here are a few suggestions that might help:
-Check your Geckolib and Blockbench versions: Make sure you’re using the latest versions of both Geckolib and Blockbench1. ----Sometimes, updating to the latest version can resolve compatibility issues.
-Check your model’s UV mapping: There could be an issue with how your model’s UVs are mapped.
-You might want to try adjusting the UV mapping of your model in Blockbench2.
-Check for known issues: Look for similar issues on the Geckolib GitHub page345.
If you find a similar issue, there might be a solution or workaround posted there.Contact the plugin’s developers: If none of the above solutions work, you might want to consider reaching out to the developers of the Geckolib plugin directly.
They may be able to provide more specific assistance or fix a potential bug in the plugin.
Remember, it’s always a good idea to back up your work before making any major changes. I hope this helps!
I fixed it, turned out to be a problem with the animations, just redid them and it worked
