I'm making a series of mods that will completely overhaul Vanilla Minecraft. The first one, Reforged, adds new crafting techniques, recipes, ores, items, procedures, more realistic items, and a little something else to spice up your gameplay... relics. To obtain relic gear, first mine a lot of silver. Then, make Silver items (Armor, tools, weapons.) Then, make the relicforge. Once you have these done, you can go out and find relics in the world. Some are found by defeating bosses, while others are obtained by just exploring and finding loot chests. Each relic, once applied to the silver gear, will produce a Relic Item, which all have special requirements and abilities. Now, I need YOUR help to come up with relics! Comment your ideas for relics, obtainment methods, abilities, requirements (if any) and designs.
Current relics:
Werewolf Hunter - Does extra damage to Lupine creatures - requires Werewolf Boss defeat to use
Voidsparr - Unknown currently
What about something like dragon fire? It makes you place fire when you walk? Or maybe shoot fire on a key pressed.
Boss: Air Bender Guardianwot
Design: A Guardian sized half the Elder one that instead of shooting a beam at you, it drains your oxygen even at the Surface.
Flaws: Need to have eye contact for at least two consecutive seconds in order to start consuming, it's slower than other guardians.
Relic: Helmet of Air Bending
Effect:
Requirement: To obtain the Eye of Suffocation (The legendary ingredient necessary to have in order to make the Helmet of Air Bending.) you need to kill the Air Bender Guardian without using water breathing effect.
Lightning relic? spawns lightning?
