im using 2023.4 to make my Mod but im having trouble spawning structures underground
i tried using "bury" but that just surrounds it in blocks on the surface
i even set the generation stage to "UNGERGROUND_STRUCTURES" but it still didnt work
any tips?!
If you need gradual control over the structure placement underground, consider using feature: https://mcreator.net/wiki/how-make-feature#toc-index-4
i tried that, i followed the images for the underground spawning, and it didnt work
I would recommend showing your setup and elaborating on what did not work
nevermind i got it working, thanks though!
HOW DID YOU GET IT TO WORK
yeah how did you do it pls respond
i used Features
i made it so it spawns at a low Y position (also known as.. Underground)
and then just randomized the X and Z
I am trying to do something similar. Place a rather sphere like structure in the nether. It is hollow inside with loot and mobs and I want it to generate within the nether terrain without it carving out a huge cube... but I also do NOT want the terrain to generate inside the structure. Anyone done this?
Settings:
Mcreator 2024.3
Neoforge 1.21.1
Generation State: Underground structure
Structure start height 40 to 100, UNIFORM
Both bury and encapsulate have been tried.
