My game keeps freezing on the red loading screen, but I can still click the buttons and interact with the menu screen. This happens when I use my custom model that I created in Blockbench, which is inside a Java file. When I turn the model back into the basic biped model, it seems to fix the issue. I've tried everything but nothing seems to help the situation. I cant find helpful responses inside of existing posts either.
My model contains some completely flat assets that is basically as thin as paper. I've tried deleting them, but that didnt help either. There are also some overlapping assets, but im not sure if that is what is causing the issue.
If anyone has information on what is going on and how to stop it, please reply. Thank you!
Yo! im having the same problem rn. It started happening oce i put my animated custom model that like yours has a few overlapping parts and some 0 pixel thick parts. Ill get back at you if i somehow resolve this. Altough if you alredy did resolve it would you min telling me how? Also you didnt specify in your post if you where using some plugins both or either in blockbench and Mcreator. for blockbench im using GeckoLib Animation Utils, Version 3.1.0 while for mcreatr im using Nerdys_Geckolib_Plugin_12.
I reccomend cheking out this forum post (i breezed trough it but now im gonna read it more carefuly. im pretty sure it going to help)
Alr so i fixed it in like 10 mins but idk if its the same problem as you but i basically had both a normal vanilla entity and the enity using geckolib and i just deleted the vanilla version one https://imgur.com/a/PdhNvLj
I remember I installed geckolib once for my previous projects and it was bugged or unfinished, could that be something that starts the bugs?
AlsoI didnt give my models animations yet
Heres my model for reference

For blockbench I'm not using any animation addons and for Mcreator I have an buggy/broken geckolib addon and I dont know the version
i'd reccomend unisntalling and reinstalling a geckolib version that is compatible with the version that your mod is on, thats what i do when it sometimes dosent work and that fixes it. also very cool model!
Thank you!!! I will try uninstalling and reinstalling geckolib. :)
Do I reinstall geckolib for mcreator, blockbench, or both? I seem to have downloaded the latest version on mcreator (geckolib-forge-1.21-4.5.7.jar) but the problem is still appearing.
I'm also not sure if I have to manually import geckolib after opening it in Mcreator.
I manually imported geckolib into mcreator, but the problem is still happening. Do I have to import it into Blockbench as well, or is it possible that some other issue is interfering with Mcreator?
Also im not sure if I should use nerdy's geckolib or normal geckolib for blockbench
I tried it on a different workplace and the game jus tstraight up crashes
Here's the crash:

It also contains a screenshot from my original workspace that keeps freezing up
Are there any plugins in either mcreator or blockbench that might be interfering? Or maybe its something to do with mcreator itself. I have honestly never encountered somethinf like this. I could try to recreate the problem to see if i can fix it. Do you have anything that you think might be causing this problem?
