Execution failed for task ':runClient'.

I have read tons of forum posts, been to websites, gone to knowledgebase, and found this error, but not a working solution. every time I launch the test client, it crashes when minecraft loads. here is the error: Execution failed for task ':runClient'. let me know if you need the full crashlog

I used to get this error when I didn't have Curse Forge installed. A mod loader (Curse Forge, Modrinth, etc) is required to test your mod. If you have a mod loader, then idk what the issue is. :(

I have this same problem, but it's a bit different. When I got the same error, it had this line after it:

Process 'command '/Users/Drake/.mcreator/gradle/jdks/eclipse_adoptium-17-x86_64-os_x/jdk-17.0.12+7/Contents/Home/bin/java'' finished with non-zero exit value 1

Could someone help me figure this out? Maybe it could help you with your error.

I just fixed it, somehow. I just took everything out of the workspace, deleted it, made a new one, put everything back in, and it started working. Maybe you guys could try this if you are still having this problem?
