hi, so i was making a condemned state for my mod (shadows 2) but when i tried to launch the client it made an error so i looked at what had gone wrong and it didn't like me using infinity as a time even though it just autocorrects to it if you type in 1e+10000000000000000(etc)
can somebody tell me if this is a bug or something and what should i do?
You should not use infinity for numerical values in most cases. Minecraft does not operate on infinity timepoint, this will simply not work
but it auto corrects to it and when i try the maximum amount without numbers (100000000000000000000) it doesnt allow it either
There is limit to what values computers accept. Why do you need such a high value since time is periodic anyways?
Setting time to such values makes no sense
i need an affect to last infinitely
If you are doing potion effects, in MCreator 2024.4 you can check a box to make certain effect infinite
