About the plugin

Nerdy’s Sky Renderer is a plugin that enables you to fully control sky rendering. You can render custom skyboxes, replace or modify the sun and moon, and adjust fog color and distance. It provides all the tools needed to create unique skies for your dimensions or worlds.


Replacing the sky

Included in this plugin are several procedure blocks and a global trigger that allow you to replace or modify the vanilla skybox.

The sun/moon rendering procedures should use altered versions of the vanilla textures. The skybox itself should retexture the image provided below. It can be resized to fit any resolution so long as the aspect ratio remains the same.

Sky rendering is also compatible with the model transformation procedure blocks included in Nerdy's Custom Entity Models, allowing you to rotate the skybox as you please.

 

Manipulating the fog

You will also find included procedure blocks that allow you to manipulate the color and distance of the rendered fog. This helps it fit better with the background of your skybox or to be used in custom special effects.

Hello, Im trying to get the skybox to not have visible lines in it, i can see each face of the skybox in my image. I have the size of the texture 1200x600 which is what i think it needs to be based on the reference image you have on the plugin?

I've tried messing with some of the classes myself but uhhh,,,,

If at all possible, could I get rid of the pitch-black void color with this?

Okay, but how would it work with moon_phases or a texture like the sun, and how large does the file for the sky need to be?
