You would need to do some intensive coding for that. Why dont you just make armor? That seems waaaaaaaaaaaaay easier than reinventing the wheel to achieve the same effect lol.

I want this for my Jojo mod for the stand cinderella since it changes peoples appearances and I can make it so it turns into my skin or something like that. since this was answered in 2016 anyone know a way to do it? idrc if its java coding
You can't just change the player skin. First, you would need to access minecraft.net, login into the player's account, and change the actual skin by a new one. This first step sounds impossible. The second reason why it's not possible is that to update your skin, you must restart Minecraft (not just quit your map and rejoin, you must shut down Minecraft and relaunch it)
So, no, it's not possible to change the player's skin with a procedure block.
yeah i know its on .net client side so we cant acess on mcreator, but you got to admit its bizarre you be able to create helicopters that shot missiles but not change the player cloth texture :D
