Topic category: Help with MCreator software
Hi im fairly new to MCreator and want to make an Anomalocaris, Opabinia, Trilobite, etc but the modeling programs are only for windows! So I'm wandering if any one knows of any modeling/texturing programs for linux that are free and works with MCreator 1.7.10?

i would suggest GIMP.
@OlieGamerTV i have gimp but i dont think you can model on it, plus i got mrcrayfishes modeling program
Good luck on your mod! I love Anomalocaris and Opabinia. What will the mod be called?
I'll give you a link when its done!
Try techne (for mobs): http://justgameinmods.weebly.com/techne.html
And opl's model creator (for blocks/items): http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-tool…
These you download as a folder and open .jar files in them. They are no compressed programs, so that's why I think they most likely will work for linux.
