if you downloaded the installer and installed but moved something or all files, will give this error, i reinstalled and not moved anything and is working fine! i hope work for you! :D

I figured out how to fix it, you have to go to preferences on MCreator and enable offline mode.
Yes. please help i can't run it in offline mode i just installed it I'm useing
MacBook (13-inch, Aluminum, Late 2008) and i can't run it in offline
