I have just started using MCreator and I have already made a simple mod. However, when I started making a new mod the program crashed at some point and I booted it up again. When I started working on the mod again a box showed up where it said "Gradle caches outdated", and something about me having to exit out of offline mode. I went into Gradle options to fix my problem, but offline mode wasn't even turned on. I shrugged it off and started working on the mod again. When I went to export it, the Gradle caches are outdated box appeared again. I pressed do nothing, and then it said my mod couldn't be exported.
I have tried exiting the program and booting it up again and even uninstalling the program and installing it again, but to no avail. How do I fix this?
If the offline mode is turned off and you still get the error, go to <user folder>/.mcreator/gradle and delete caches folder in it and run MCreator again.
I went to the folder, but the only file in there is a folder called wrapper. In there is a jar file called gradle-wrapper.jar and gradle-wrapper.properties. Is it any of them?
Did you go to <user folder>/.mcreator/dralde or to <user folder>/.gradle/ or in <install folder>/forge/.gradle?
Ahh, I see now. Sorry about that.
I've deleted the folder and re-run MCreator. It succeeds at 'setting up Minecraft forge MDK', but now it stops at the last one and says "MCreator setup failed!".
Paste the error log here from the console.
I've been getting the same problem. Here is a list of things that didn't work.
-Deleteing the Gradle folder
-Turning Off Anti Virus and Firewall
-Re-Installing Mcreator
I thought it was a problem with the Forge servers, but I've waited for about a week and still nothing.
