Loading workspace data stucks

im worked so much on a revolutionary mod and i will not lost this, but one day i launched mcreator and gets stucked on "Loading Workspace Data". Since this day, i losted my work of hundred hours and i´ve never seen again. Suppousdly, this issue was fixed in 1.8.1, but its happended for me various times in previous and current versions.

Go to <mcreator install folder>/forge/.mcreator/workspaceBackups and copy one of the workspace backups and replace the workspace.mcreator in <mcreator install folder>/forge/ with one of the backups. Make sure to rename the backup to workspace.mcreator too.

For why this is happening to you this often, there can be two main causes:

  • antivirus messing with MCreator's file writer
  • computer crashing or turning off unexpectedly while MCreator is open

Thank you for trying for help me with my issue, but is not fixed yet :C.

i tried to replace the workspace with the backup, but nothing changed after that. I deactived my antivirus, but still stucking on "Loading Workspace Data". I turned off the pc a lot with MCreator open, and blocked the pc too. Rounding a week ago, i stopped doing it and the problem is still not fixed


 

Try changing it with different backup, it might be that you replaced it with backup that is already broken. You can attach one of these backups here so I can check if they are ok or corrupted.

I have reinstalled MCreator several times and in different places on the disk. Problem still not resolved. How to solve it?
