If I try to save a mod it will only say "A Gradle process is already running. How do I fix that?It also won't let me delete a mod element.

If I try to save a mod it will only say "A Gradle process is already running. How do I fix that?It also won't let me delete a mod element.
Just wait until the gradle is active. After the build is complete or you close Minecraft if you launched Minecraft, you can resume your work.
