I don't know how to incorporate GUI in my mod.

I would like to have some GUI in my mod, not a crafting table or a furnace GUI, I tried to make a GUI that showed all the recipes in the mod, but my screenshots didn't fit.  I still really want some kind of GUI, anyone have any ideas???
