Issue description

I am working on Custom Armor and its more of a pain then I thought. I get manage to figure out the pivot point for sneaking and got it to stop glitching out of the player. then couldnt get the shoulders to show then I put the Shoulders under the same bone as torso and then had both under there own bone for there motion and know I can see them but they are stationed to the torso and I was trying to get them to fallow the Texture that is stuck to the shoulder that is kinda of nerving that you cant remove it that I know of. I tried coding it myself a bit and still arms part dose not move is this a glitch or just something that I am missing?

To keep armor shoulder pads, you will need to find a proper pivot point - the same as for arms and then offset the part from the pivot point on the shoulders. If I understood your issue properly, that is.

yeah I kinda figured that. pivot just a pain to figure out location of the point. is it on top of the arm or to the side of the arm in the shoulder area? ill keep testing.

also do I need to set the animation like you do a mob or is it auto matic once you figure out pivot placement

Animating arm movement for armor parts is not possible yet but works for legs. Chestplate model is bound to the body part, not to arms. We will consider adding another two fields to select elements bound to player arms.

Oh alright. Yeah I seen that there was those textured parts on the arms and hands when creating armor torso and I thought that was ment for movement bonding I'll try to clear that from my texture template once I figure out witch pixels are effecting that part. Thinks I'll reset the arms build to non motion and add the plant effect to the helm instead and add vines to torso with set motion from motion export and it should look fine. Some impervising but in long run I think it will come out. Thanks for info so I can move on with remake ideas rather running in same circle. Lol

Yeah I figured out something if I set animation for left and right arm and do not create a shoulder part and set the texture to the left top corner for arms I can texture the arms and because I set it animated it's a textured coat instead of skin. And appears to work so fare this also explains why my mobs are always slitly bigger then the originals. I am just glade I got something working and arms get textured maybe not what I had in mind but so fare so good arms with with new texture.

Umm it only works properly on Steve's model but Alex is a bit glitchy

It could be that Alex has different pivot points, I will need to check this, thanks for the info.

Sorry for the lack of information. I mean will the feature klemen commited in 09/01/2019 be added to 1.12.2 or is it only going to be for 1.14.4

And why this issue seen as fixed ı hadn't see it been fixed in any versions.
