Element naming question and the use of underscores

When creating an element on completion it removes underscores from the name.

On duplicating an element and renaming it with underscores it does not remove the underscores from the name.

ie Mob_Biped01

I like naming with the prefix of the elements name because it makes it a lot easier to sort out elements using the search for elements.

A underscore in the beginning of a name for an armored image layer will break the element not showing text in the textbox it shows armor at the bottom like it should will not let you save element.

Ie _MyArmor_layer_1.png

Is it also trying to remove the underscore?
