What about adding a Search Bar at the top of the Topic Section of each User?
With that you can search to something similar maybe adding also a Sorting System where you can sort to Alphabet or Creation Date so you can search certain Topics of specific User to find a specific topic that the user started.
Such a Feature allows us to search Topics of a User much more faster because there are some Users that has a lot of topics started are a pain to search for a specific topic.
