Topic category: Help with Minecraft modding (Java Edition)
So im making a mod about elemental staffs and one of those is a fire staff which i made 3 animations - Idle - Charging - Attacking - i am currently trying to make it so that when i hold right click i charge 1 firecharge but thats another forum topic
The problem is - i dont really know how i can make it so that when i hold right click it plays - charging - animation and when i release right click it plays - attacking - animation so pls help :(

oh also i dont think idle is working correctly but i will check on it later
Do you use Geckolib?
Then you can create an Animated Item with those Animations.
The thing is I dont really know how i can use the Attack animation when the player releases right click
