Help with custom capes.

Hello, I am friends with a coder who recently added custom capes to his mod, and I wanted to do the same. However, whenever I go to test the mod or do anything else, one important file called "assetstransformer.cfg" resets to it's original state before any changes were made. Would there be a way to get around this?

I believe you can pass array in build.gradle, but maybe this is only 1.20.4 NeoForge feature. In this case, this will be possible in the upcoming update
