Fishing Rod line only go out at the off-hand, Not the main hand

Fishing Rod line only go out at the off-hand, Not the main hand

The text says it all: the fishing rod only casts the line on the opposite side of the player's hand for some reason, how can I fix this? It doesn't break the functionality, but it's very inconvenient to look at.
