If I update MCreator, will it delete my mods that are unfinished? This is a worry of mine, that's why my mods are still in 1.19.4
they will just be updated to the new MCreator and Minecraft version, but you won't be able to go back after, and sometimes some problems could occur, so before updating do a backup of the mods and you'll be fine
