Topic category: Help with MCreator software
I wanted to work on my Mod and I saw a notification saying that there is a new MCreator version with a lot of bugfixes. Hoping that it would IMPROVE my MCreator experience, I installed the new version and since then, I cannot open or create any Workspaces. Every time, it just says "Workspace setup failed" and trust me, when I say that I've tried EVERY SINGLE method listed on the knowledgebase about gradle errors! I'm also totally confused by the "Open preferences (and re-run afterwards)" button on the error notification, which just opens the preferences without ANY FURTHER information on what to do. When I first got MCreator, I had the exact same unsolveable problem, but only with NeoForge. So I just switched to regular Forge and it worked just fine. Now since the update, neither Forge or NeoForge works anymore! What a great update!
What we usually recommend is testing snapshots so one can make sure release will work well on their device one it is out. If this is not done, there is limited we can do to support your specific device.
To assist further, we would need link to the log that you get in console tab when this happens

i have the same problem
For my part, i have exactly the same problem.
And now, i can't use mcreator, because i cant create a workspace.
If mod/maint can help me please, that will be cool !
