Creating animated armor for Wings

Using: 2023.2 - 2024.2

(Forge) 1.19.2 - 1.19.4 - 1.20.1

(NeoForge) 1.20.4 - 1.20.6

I'm wondering if there is a way to create animated armor when the player is not on the ground, so it looks like the wings are flapping. I would prefer to have no dependencies if possible. Thank you!
