How to make a mob place and break blocks?

I wanna make a mod that is like the Zeta Players from gmod, but in minecraft. I just don't know how. Is it even possible in MCreator? Or do I need to actually write code?

(Specifically it builds with the items and blocks in their inventory, so they might need some ability to pick up items)
