When I create armor with the Geckolib plugin, the helmet of this armor appears if you put on any part of this armor, even if it is not a helmet
You need to go to advanced settings and change each individual piece of the armour to fit the group in your model. When making the model make sure to group the cubes into their respective parts, eg head body leftplate(shoulder) rightplate leftleg rightleg. Also make sure the pivot points are in the correct position before exporting.
