Texture Having Black Around It

I made a sapling block, and it works fine. But the texture has black around it. It isn't just black, the actual texture is there, but everywhere that was left uncolored is black. I checked the texture and there isn't any black on it. I checked and it isn't transparent either. I'm not sure why this happens.

For context (if it matters) I'm on 1.20.1 Forge.
