MCreator 2021.1 Minecraft 1.12 Tree leaves decay on custom logs with appropriate tags and settings

HI!
I am trying to make leaves decay on my custom trees that spawn using structures, the leaves use the leaves base, material, and tag
My logs have the default base, wood material, and "logs" tag, however, the leaves on my trees still decay, I've tried researching but cannot find a solution.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
