Topic category: Feature requests and ideas for MCreator
So, I'm all excited to try Mcreator (After realizing that Blockbench was only to make block/item models.). I use a Mcaddon file and first thing I see: More then half of the features are lacking and not supported. I swear to god, even Blockbench, with his item wizard, had more property options!
I know it's a recuring post out there, but seriously, can you guys please for the love of god take a break from perfecting Neoforge's port and focus more on the Mcaddon so you guys can find a way to implement theses features still? I mean, it's LITTERALY impossible to make an entity on this. I made a few items and one block, but they where all bugged in their own way. The items wouldn't show their textures and the block, when walking straightforward, would atleast double my speed, making it all very irritating. I see all those cool stuff that can be made out of this app, and yet almost all of this is exclusive for Java. People are complaining about this, and you guys didn't do much to fix their issues except saying "Yeah, can't do that.".
I'm deeply sorry for this large paragraph, and just to precise, I hold no hate against you guys, I believe the app is amazing, it's just more focused on Java and the addition of the flawed Mcaddon maker for Bedrock just feels like an excuse more then an option to mod for an other version. I hope you guys find a way to fix all of this, I believe y'all will. Have a nice day Mcreator team!
Oh my god, so, I just tried to make a Neoforge port, and holy cow, it has WAY more stuff. Please integrate them to Mcaddon, I can't wait to use them on my Minecraft Bedrock!
Bedrock edition is by design not moddable as it is not in Java. We are limited by what game developers allow us to mod, and currently this is very limited and also very bugged from the game side so we can just wait
