Topic category: Feature requests and ideas for MCreator
I suggest adding to MCreator the ability to create folders in the textures section for easy sorting. Sometimes you can get confused when finding a specific texture.
Also, when using textures for blocks, items, etc., the path to a specific folder where the texture is located changed.

I don't understand how to create a post about this idea.
I've got it all figured out now
No, I didn't understand anyway, how do I open a issue about a new idea?
I see that you can create a dialog in your photo. You can push your code to the Pull Request.
Unfortunately, I don't have the code, I'm not that knowledgeable about the aspects of the program. These photos only visually show this idea, I made them using Photoshop.
It is very regettable.
Thank you!
Recent Minecraft versions require textures that combine into one atlas to be in the same folder so physical folders at least can't really be supported
for minecraft, the textures have to be in one folder, but in mcreator, displaying the textures in resources should really have an organizing feature, similiar to mod-elements. and in addition to mcreator folders, there are also filter options to only show, locked elements for example, or only display elements, that have a certain word in their name. it could work like that, so mcreator doesnt create actual folders, but you can create "lists" of textures, and opening a list only shows textures, that are on that list. personally, i organize textures, by starting their names with categories like weaponswordironbladeredhandlebluegemcoppercrossguardrust050, which gets tedious after a while.
That's how we need to develop this idea, but for example, in the Create fashion, such folders are used in the \textures folder for more convenient sorting, and in block models there is a direction to textures through these folders. Is it really impossible to create this because of the vanilla nature of Minecraft? If it is impossible physically, then let it be at least visually.
