Why is my MCreator running so slow?

So i am using windows 10 MCreator 2024.4, and i don't have too many apps going on in the background,

But from the GUI, the Image editor and the procedure editor are running extremely slow, even though not being complex at all.

It even takes seconds to just place a block in the blockly editor.

Can somebody tell me reasons this could be happening?
