Ambient Sounds Help

This isn't exactly about MCreator, but I'm trying to have cicadas chirping as ambient noise in forests at night. This is using a resource pack (and hopefully not a datapack unless absolutely necessary) and not using an MCreator mod. I'd like help with this, and this is the only place I know of to ask questions like this, sooooo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
