Very dissatisfied with MCreator's biome builder in 1.20.1 and 1.21.1

Very dissatisfied with MCreator's biome builder in 1.20.1 and 1.21.1

The settings that should control biome placement don't do anything, you can put any numbers anywhere and the biome placement is still the same mess every time, even if you lock the code of your custom dimension and edit the numbers by hand.

I put the lowest continentalness and highest erosion and the biome still generates in the highest, hilliest places, I put numbers very far away from one another and the biomes still generate touching every time. I could tweak the numbers to be as broad as I want and some biomes still won't generate. I put the highest continentalness and the biome still doesn't generate in high altitudes.

It's been years of this, it was perfect in 1.16.5, but now it feels like it doesn't actually use any of the numbers you input, it feels like it simply ignores all your inputs and does whatever it wants instead. No matter what I do to the settings, the result is the same and random. It feels like MCreator is just vibecoding and disregarding your inputs as guidelines, I really really hope it's not using some sort of generative AI to do generate the code nowadays.

Also pair that with the generation stage (raw_generation, lakes, local_modifications, etc) being completely ignored by MCreator and features generating after later stages when they should generate before them, and other instances of our inputs being completely disregarded in random areas.
