Topic category: Help with MCreator software
Hello everyone, I decided to make my own mod which is very simple; a new ore that's stronger than netherite slightly, that's it. I messed up but creating a file called "Pickaxe" and made it an axe, but I immediately realized and deleted both files, created new ones and fixed that, but the issue didn't go away. I went to a tab called "Element Tags" which appeared to have "Tag names" of "Hoes, axes, swords, pickaxes..." and the Axes tag had the pickaxe and the pickaxe tag had the axe, I swapped them there as well, which fixed the commands of summoning them or giving them, but when I tried crafting them with normal ingots like any other tool, it still mixes them up. I'm 100% I gave the correct recipes to each one, but when trying to create the Axe, it gives me a pickaxe and vice versa. What do I do?
Well, I sort of fixed. For whatever reason, naming my axe file "*modname*Axe" makes it a pickaxe immediately and is registered and saved as a Pickaxe and vice versa, so all I had to do was change the name, which I added "test" to it and it worked. I hope no one notices.
Edit: People can notice. Changing the name also changes the ID, so when you try to give yourself that item in creative, it's called "*modname*-Pickaxe-test" so I still don't know how to fix that.
Okay, I think I fixed it for good. So, I Right-Click the item with the wrong name, and the last option at the bottom is "Edit Registry Name" and you just type in whatever you want.
That is interesting, do you have the workspace in the mixed up state still available?
What do you mean? What mixed up state?
I'm pretty sure they mean:
What confused me is the question itself, like what does it mean to have it "still available"? Lol. I genuinely apologize if I'm being very dense here, but a detailed comment would help. I apologize once again.
