Tried to import my old geckolib entity into the new java format and it appears that the animations don't work correctly. This has happened only with one of the two models i have converted but it seems that any keyframe that targets the base folder of the model is disregarded. In my case for example my entity is supposed to jump and spin as a whole, but while the individual parts of played the animation correctly, it did not jump nor spin. I've spent hours trying to understand what went wrong and importing the blockbench animations again and again but with no success. If anyone has encountered this problem please help me cause many of my other models use the root folder for animations too.
