I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend claude (im using sonett 4.6) for custom code if you cant do java yourself, i used a bit of chatgpt before but it was always a huge huge pain getting anything to work, but with claude its quite literally insane, i can make the most comlex things i never even dreamed of days ago within minutes, and they mostly work without any debugging, the same thing wouldve taken hourse if not days with chatgpt since chatgpt cant get right what is like fabric, forge, neoforge etc, also it feels like chatgpt cant even think, it makes incredibly complex things for some really easy things whereas claude easily makes bug-free code within seconds, im sorry if this is advertisement, but i promise you its not, its just fantastic and i wanted to help other modders with this.
