Should I make a elements mod?

I was wondering if I should make a elements mod. Each element of the periodic table will be and ore and you will be able to make hoes, axes, swords with special abilities, pickaxes, and shovels with each element. Also, you can create blocks for each element, matching the power of the sword. Good idea or bad idea? Let me know if I should continue this mod. I am at the 3rd element as of 12/17/16. I will update this mod every five elements I make. Let me know if you would like this mod. It will be in version 1.7.10.
